Being a coffee- addict I can totally understand why the director decided to organise a number of short stories , whose linking element was coffee and cigarettes.

Bringing together exceptional actors , performers and artists in general such as Roberto Benini, Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, Bill Murray, Kate Blanchet the director gives as an idea of the things that can happen over a cup of coffee..

The colours which are usually absent in Jarmuschs' films are not present to this movie either..
More than ever he wisely combines the black colour of coffee with the white of the cigarettes wrapping..

Some stories are better than others but I am sure that anyone will find one to like..
